AlphaDERA Labs provides genetic counseling services to individuals who are seeking answers to their genetic-related questions. For healthcare providers who are requesting genetic counseling for their patients, AlphaDERA Labs offers collaboration and connection with our team of board-certified genetic counselors, medical geneticists, and medical directors. This allows you to provide comprehensive genetic counseling services to their patients.
The counseling can be requested by physicians or agreed upon between the patients and their healthcare providers. The services offered by AlphaDERA Labs include both pre-test and post-test counseling to review the results of genetic tests.
The genetic counselors at AlphaDERA Labs review the reason for testing, patient family history, and medical history to determine if the test is appropriate for the patient and to verify the ordered test. After the test is performed, the results are sent to the physician and the team of genetic counselors is available to review, interpret, and translate the results into an easy-to-understand format for both healthcare providers and patients, as well as to discuss how the results may impact the individual's health.
